The three celebrities I want to interview the most: President Obama, Actress Cate Blanchett, Musician Dave Matthews. Although once someone has attained celebrity status, they have been written about enough probably; I would rather catch someone on the cusp of real celebrity, not the manufactured kind that brings us Jonas Brothers, Britney Spears and Paris. I want to be interviewing that special person right before the public realizes that person is significant. I want to say, I knew them when, I was there, and I saw it coming.

Favorite Web site (other than Scooping the News): Mashable. If you want to know about social media, Mashable has a significant amount of information provided by some awesome people.

One news source I can't live without: Twitter. When you can bring all the news feeds together and mix it with links people have independently sourced from everywhere over the net, well, that is when you really know you got something.

The last great movie I watched: O'Brother, Where Art Thou? Often times the treasure you find will not be the one you seek.

One news event I wish I had covered: Honduras Military Coup. The players are real, the action is intense, the stakes are high; if I could accomplish reporting and make a solid journalistic contribution in that confusing environment, I would know I was at the top of my game. I, however, have human limitations, but it is nice to have over-the-top fantasies. I do, however, believe that good reporting, good journalism, takes emersion and really knowing the people you are engaging; if you don't, you are at the mercy of your sources. Who wants to be on the spin cycle? And when you are on to something, it ought to give you a head rush.
